Broke people win the lottery... Why? Because successful people do not play! Life is not luck of the straw or a game of chance, success is something that is grown over time. 95% of people get into situations where they wish that something would happen instantly to help "bail" them out of a bad situation. Unfortunately that never happens... Like the old saying, Slow and steady wins the race.
